PURPOSE: A vehicle compressor control device and a control method are provided to prevent the increase of indoor air temperatures due to compressor operation reduction by controlling a ventilation fan. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle compressor control device comprises a sensor unit(10), an air conditioning system(40), and a controller(20). The sensor unit comprises a passenger compartment sensor(11), an outdoor temperature sensor(13), an evaporator temperature sensor(15), an engine speed sensor(17), and a throttle position sensor(19). The air conditioning system comprises a condenser, an evaporator, a compressor, a temperature control door, an indoor/outdoor air door, and a blower. The controller controls the operation of the air conditioning system. The controller determines an acceleration mode and an allowable temperature at the acceleration mode if acceleration occurs. The controller reduces the compressor operation amount according to the difference between the evaporator temperature and the allowable temperature. |
