<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of removing bubbles from a space where ink is stored without being noticed by a user during a process of inserting an ink cartridge into a device. <P>SOLUTION: The ink cartridge includes a body 31 having a front face 40 and an end face 42 and capable of storing ink in an internal ink chamber 36, and a protrusion 33 extending from the front face 40 to the mounting direction 56 side. The protrusion 33 has a pair of sidewalls 90, 91, an upper wall 92 extending from the front face 40 in the mounting direction 56, and a front wall 93 which connects the sidewalls 90, 91 and the upper wall 92 on the protrusion end side, and is opened on the end face 42 side and the underside so that ink can be circulated to the ink chamber 36. The body 31 has a slope 86 which is arranged to be spaced apart downward in the height direction 52 from the lower end of the protrusion 33. The slope 86 is inclined so that the mounting direction 56 side is located higher than the end face 42 side.
