<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce contamination of an image or inside a machine due to having suctioned toner remaining and dropping by suctioning scattered toner used for visualizing a latent image using a difference in electrostatic potential. <P>SOLUTION: A toner suction device is provided with an opening 22 of a suction tube 21 facing a position where toner is transferred from a developing member 12 to a toner layer transporting member 11 retaining a toner layer on a periphery surface and transporting to a position facing a photoreceptor drum 1, and suctions scattered toner nearby the position where the toner is transferred. A section facing the toner layer transporting member in the opening is configured to have its size in the width direction on the periphery surface of the toner layer transporting member enlarged toward a direction approaching the position where the toner is transferred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
