<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of user confirmation without impairing convenience of a user. <P>SOLUTION: A user confirmation device comprises an extraction means for extracting user agent information in an HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) header from a packet received from a terminal device, an information management means which associates the user agent information extracted from the packet received from the terminal device operated by a user by the extraction means with user identification information of the user to store in more than one set of storage means, and a decision means which collates the user agent information extracted from an authentication request packet with the user agent information stored in the storage means in association with the user identification information of a user operating an arbitrary terminal device when authentication with the authentication request packet received from the arbitrary terminal device succeeds, and decides whether the user operating the arbitrary terminal device is a valid user by deciding whether the extracted user agent information corresponds to the user agent information stored in the storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
