<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress voltage rise of a battery or a controller by regenerative power of a motor without causing addition of components. <P>SOLUTION: This overvoltage suppression device which suppresses overvoltage in a motor driving device which regenerates power generated by a motor 10 to a battery E includes: an inverter voltage detection circuit 4 C which detects regenerative voltage; and a driving circuit 4 which compares the detected regenerative voltage with a voltage threshold of the battery E to drive the motor 10 in the opposite direction to a powering direction when the regenerative voltage exceeds the voltage threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
