<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of preventing erroneous determination of the lock status of a motor, the erroneous determination occurring due to an operation input given by an operator of an electric power tool for manipulating the rotation speed of the motor rotatively driving tool elements of the power tool. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 131 of the power tool 1 sets a lock determination time period Tr corresponding to a set duty ratio, and thereafter determines whether a pull amount of a trigger switch 10 is less than an operation threshold of the pull amount set beforehand (S315 and S320). When the pull amount is less than the operation threshold, the CPU stops a counter that counts as a counted value an elapsed time period taken for the motor 20 to rotate by a predetermined amount, and resets the counter (S325 and S340). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
