<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable liquid crystal compound having a wide liquid crystal phase range, excellent compatibility with another polymerizable liquid crystal compound and high solubility in an organic solvent, and polymerizable by heat and light even in air. <P>SOLUTION: The polymerizable liquid crystal compound is represented by formula (1), wherein A<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and A<SP POS="POST">2</SP>are each a cyclic-structure group; Z<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is a bonding group; m is an integer of 0-5; P<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is a polymerizable group represented by formula (2-1); Q<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is 1-20C alkylene; P<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is a polymerizable group represented by any one of formula (2-1) to formula (2-4), hydrogen, fluorine, or the like; and Q<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is a group defined in Q<SP POS="POST">1</SP>when P<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is a polymerizable group and Q<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is a single bond when P<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is not a polymerizable group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
