<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively enhance energy-conservation awareness of a user using a home appliance via a controller connected to the home appliance. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 100 comprises: a communication interface 105 (107) for communicating with at least one home appliance and at least one mobile terminal; a memory 101 for storing the power consumption amount per home appliance in a given period; and a processor 110 that receives power information indicating the power consumed by the home appliance, updates the power consumption amount of the home appliance based on the power information, receives operation information indicating the operational state change of the home appliance, and transmits notification information on the power consumption amount of the home appliance to any of the mobile terminals according to the operation information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
