<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable projection of a high quality image without using equipment causing a complicated and large-scale device, when projecting one image using a plurality of projectors. <P>SOLUTION: From a plurality of projectors 2 to a screen SC, a multi-projection system 1 projects a projection image projected from an adjacent projector 2 in such a manner as to form an overlay region. The multi-projection system 1 includes a brightness control device 8 for determining a brightness target value of the overlay region, based on an imaged image in which the projection image of a single unit projector 2 is imaged. The projector 2 includes: a light shielding device 3 for light shielding a region from an outer circumference of the projection image to a light shielding position in the projection image; and a control device 21 for controlling the light shielding device 3 to make the brightness of the overlay region be the target value determined by the brightness control device 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
