摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress occurrence of flare at a solid-state image pickup device that includes microlenses corresponding to respective pixels and has optical waveguides between the microlenses and light-receiving parts. <P>SOLUTION: A solid-state image pickup device includes a solid-state image pickup element 10 and an IR-cut filter 32. The solid-state image pickup element 10 includes: a plurality of light-receiving parts 12 that are arranged in a two-dimensional manner and each of which forms a pixel 1; color filters 18 in a plurality of colors including at least red that are arranged so as to correspond to the light-receiving parts for selection of wavelengths received by the light-receiving parts; microlenses 19 that are arranged so as to correspond to the light-receiving parts for collection of light incident on the light-receiving parts; and optical waveguides 16 each of which is arranged between one of the color filters and one of the light-receiving parts vertically with reference to light-receiving surfaces of the light-receiving parts. The IR-cut filter 32 is arranged for a top face of the solid-state image pickup element. The optical waveguides include optical waveguides for red light 16R, through which red light propagates, and the light-receiving parts 12 include light-receiving parts for red light 12R, on which the red light propagated through the optical waveguides for red light is incident, with each of arrangement relations between the optical waveguides for red light 16R and the light-receiving parts for red light 12R being set to be different from at least some of other arrangement relations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
