<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device capable of performing accounting processing even with a POS terminal in failure, a mounting board and a POS system including them, and a control method of the relay device and a program. <P>SOLUTION: The relay device (mounting board 8) used by connecting to a POS terminal 2 and POS peripheral devices includes: a regular control part 23 for performing input/output control of the POS peripheral devices based on an instruction from the POS terminal 2; a proxy control part 24 for performing the input/output control of the POS peripheral devices as a proxy for the POS terminal 2 without accepting the instruction from the POS terminal 2; a failure detection part 21 for detecting failure of the POS terminal 2; and a control changeover part 22 for changing over from the input/output control of the regular control part 23 to the input/output control of the proxy control part 24 in response to the detection by the failure detection part 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
