<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic apparatus having a large allowable range with respect to a wavelength of image exposure light, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor used for the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The number of intermediate layers between a photoconductive layer and a surface layer is an odd number that is three or more in a combination in which the refractive index simply decreases from the photoconductive layer toward the surface layer. A refractive index of an odd-numbered intermediate layer is set within a predetermined range of geometric mean of the refractive index of neighboring two layers, and a product of the refractive index and film thickness is set within a specific range of λ/4n multiplied by an odd number. A sum of respective products of the individual refractive indices and film thicknesses of the intermediate layers sandwiched between the odd-numbered intermediate layers of at least two certain layers is set at within a range of -π/2<θ<π/2 in phrase conversion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
