PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a package for maintaining hydrophilicity of a substrate processed by hydrophilic treatment, and especially to provide a hydrophilic substrate package manufactured with a comparatively inexpensive production cost and excellent productivity.

SOLUTION: The hydrophilic substrate package has a hydrophilic substrate and a bag for storing the hydrophilic substrate in an airtight state. The hydrophilic substrate includes a substrate formed with molding resin and a water contact angle on a surface of the hydrophilic substrate immediately after extracted from the bag can be maintained at a low value. Preferably the hydrophilic substrate has a plurality of projections projected from the surface.
