<p>Provided is a filter for removing radioactive iodine, with which it is possible to increase the amount of air purified per unit time and also to reliably trap and remove the radioactive iodine contained in the air. A filter (10A) for removal of radioactive organic iodine is produced by folding, in a zigzag manner in one direction, a sheet formed from activated carbon fibers. Triethylenediamine (C6H12N2), which adsorbs radioactive organic iodine, is attached in the filter (10A), and the face velocity of the filter (10A) is 10 to 25 cm/sec and the radioactive organic iodine removal efficiency of the filter (10A) in air at a humidity of 95% is 95% or greater.</p> |
