<p>PURPOSE: A portable terminal and control method thereof are provided to improve the convenience of a user by selectively deleting messages, a call history and related files. CONSTITUTION: When one contact information is selected from a telephone book including one or more contact information, a display unit(320) displays a first screen including a key pad and an editing screen. A control unit(330) modifies the selected contact information from the displayed first screen. The control unit modifies the contact information according to a category. The contact information includes a name, a telephone number, a photo, an e-mail address, an address, group information, and bell sound information.</p> |
