<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a catalyst for cleaning an exhaust gas which is capable of effectively processing the exhaust gas, especially carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) in the exhaust gas under a low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the catalyst for cleaning the exhaust gas which comprises steps of carrying out the wet grinding of a fireproof inorganic oxide having a noble metal supported or a noble metal compound and a fireproof inorganic oxide, and a bismuth compound in an aqueous medium to obtain slurry and calcining the slurry after covering the same to a three-dimensional structure body, the calcination is conducted in the presence of sugar or a reducing agent, or the three-dimensional structure body is processed using a reduction gas during the calcination or after the calcination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
