<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer improving the quality of a printed image by reducing jitter vibration caused by the actuation of a motor and the rotation of a gear, in particular, in a tandem type printer using an electrophotography system. <P>SOLUTION: This printer includes: a motor for actuating a rolling mechanism having a gear; phase setting means setting a phase when actuating the motor; current control means for controlling a current to be supplied to the motor; detecting means detecting the jitter caused by the actuation of the motor or the rotation of the gear; and control means allowing the phase setting means to set the phase of the motor and allowing the current control means to supply the motor with the current based on the detection result by the detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
