TIRE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND MOLD FOR TIRE MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire in which the occurrence of chipping or cracks is suppressed at the edge of a wall surface of a vertical groove of the tire manufactured using a halved split mold, and which is advantageous for enhancing the commercial value of the tire, a method of manufacturing the same and a mold for tire molding.

SOLUTION: The tire 10 has the vertical groove 22 provided on a tread surface 12 and extended in the peripheral direction of the tire and a lateral groove 16 provided on the tread surface 12 extended in a direction crossing the tire peripheral direction and communicating with the vertical groove 22 via an opening 24 in a direction apart from a tire equatorial plane C. A projection 18 projected from the tread surface 12 and extended along the extending direction of the vertical groove 22 is formed at the place of the tread surface 12 in the vicinity of the wall surface 2202 of the vertical groove 22 opposed to the opening 24.
