<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic imaging optical system capable of forming two optical images having no mutual interference, side-by-side, on a single rectangle image sensor, and being applicable to an interchangeable-lens type digital camera system. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic imaging optical system 2 includes a pair of lens systems 3R and 3L arranged in parallel, and a field diaphragm 4 arranged on the object side relative to these lens systems. The lens systems 3R and 3L form optical images of an object on imaging areas 11R and 11L, respectively. The field diaphragm 4 has an aperture arranged in front of the lens systems 3R and 3L, blocks only a light flux incident on the imaging area 11L out of the light fluxes incident on the lens system 3R, and blocks only a light flux incident on the imaging area 11R out of the light fluxes incident on the lens system 3L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
