<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve capable of sufficiently securing an opening area when a land of a spool starts to open an opening. <P>SOLUTION: First and second annular grooves 41 and 42 are disposed at both ends of the axial direction of inner peripheral side ends of a spark-retard port P1 and a spark-advance port P2 that are penetratingly formed at a peripheral wall of a valve body 22 and opened and closed by a pair of lands 31 and 32 disposed in the spool 23.
