<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a double-hung window, capable of improving security while suppressing increase in cost, excellent in degree of freedom of an installation position owing to its compact constitution and having a neat and smooth appearance when viewed from an indoor side. <P>SOLUTION: A locking device comprises: a main body 2 mounted on a left or right end part of a lower sash; a slide body 3 supported by the main body 2 to be vertically movable and provided with a knob operable from an indoor side; a lock body 4 supported by the main body 2 on a further outdoor side than the slide body 3 to be movable in a right and left direction, elastically energized in a direction of window frame, moving in the right and left direction interlocking with a vertical movement of the slide body 3 and having a lock piece provided on a window frame side; and latching means for latching the slide body 3 by moving relatively the slide body 3 with respect to the main body 2 in a state that the lock piece projects in the direction of window frame by the elastic energization force when the lower sash is closed and is engaged with a receiving hole provided in the window frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
