<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rammer capable of making a lubricant efficiently reach a crank case and especially making it reach the crank case quickly at the start. <P>SOLUTION: The rammer includes: the crank case 3 which houses an output conversion mechanism for converting input from an engine 2 to the output of a linear reciprocating motion; an outer cylinder 17 which extends downwards from the crank case 3; an inner cylinder 16 which is slidable inside the outer cylinder 17; a piston rod 8 which extends inside the inner cylinder 16, receives the output and performs the linear reciprocating motion; a ground leveling plate 5 which is connected to the lower end of the inner cylinder 16 and vertically vibrated by the transmission of the linear reciprocating motion of the piston rod 8; and a lubricant pool 26 which is stored inside the lower end of the inner cylinder 16 and partially flipped upwards inside the inner cylinder 16 in accordance with the vibration of the ground leveling plate 5.
