<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for controlling a robot, which allows a robot to express natural emotions. <P>SOLUTION: The invention of controlling a robot uses an emotion space including axes corresponding to a plurality of emotions to allow a robot to express emotions. The invention of controlling a robot includes the steps of: obtaining potential information that is a function for determining a value by an emotion point indicated by a coordinate of the emotion space recorded in a recording part; using the function for determining a value by the emotion point possessed by the potential information, and a current emotion point to obtain an inclination vector at the current emotion point; and using a displacement value and a direction that are indicated by the inclination vector, and the current emotion point to obtain a following emotion point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
