<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound source position survey system for improving accuracy in estimating a sound source position by using a mobile terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A data transmission unit 1006 of a terminal 1000 collectively transmits data, which are acquired from a microphone 1001, an acoustic fingerprint conversion unit 1002, a memory 1003, a position acquisition unit 1004, and a microphone direction acquisition unit 1005, to a sound source position server 1010 as a sound tag. The sound source position server 1010 registers the sound tag transmitted from the terminal 1000 in a sound tag DB 1012. A sound source position calculation unit 1013 retrieves the sound tag DB 1012 concerning whether or not the acoustic fingerprints of the new sound tag have a portion coincident with or similar to the acoustic fingerprints of the registered sound tag. When the coincident string of the acoustic fingerprints is found, the sound source position calculation unit 1013 estimates the position of the sound source by reading information concerning the directivity of the microphone as a range for the possible position of the sound source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
