<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device including a low-cost mechanism allowing easy restoration of an opened conveying path after jam processing. <P>SOLUTION: The conveying path 21 includes a first path 22 and a second path 23. The second path 23 is partitioned by guides 50, 51. The guide 51 constitutes a lower side wall face of the second path 23. The guide 51 is suspended from a support shaft 53, and can hang down by its own weight. A paper feeding cassette 15 is installed, so that the guide 51 is supported to the paper feeding cassette 15 from below.
