PURPOSE: A method to detect a refrigerant leak is provided to rapidly measure temperature changes inside an indirect cooling refrigerator and reduce decision errors about the refrigerant leak. CONSTITUTION: A method to detect a refrigerant leak is as follows. The refrigerant leak is sensed by measuring a temperature inside an indirect cooling refrigerator when a defrosting is completed after power on. The refrigerant leak is found by temperature changes inside an indirect cooling refrigerator. The first temperature, a temperature inside an indirect cooling refrigerator, is measured after the defrosting(S1). The second temperature, a temperature inside an indirect cooling refrigerator, is measured few time later(S3). A leak is determined when a case that the second temperature subtracted from the first temperature is a specific value or less repeats N times(S5). |
