POLYOLEFIN ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

Disclosed is an adhesive composition. The adhesive composition comprises a maleated polyolefin and an LLDPE. The LLDPE is made by a Ziegler-Natta catalyst which comprises a MgCl2 support, a Ti(IV) complex, and an electron donor. The catalyst has an Mg/Ti molar ratio greater than or equal to 7. Preferably, the Ti(IV) complex is TiCl4, and the electron donor is tetrahydrofuran. Preferably, the adhesive comprises from 35 to 95 wt% of the LLDPE and 5 to 65 wt% of maleated polyolefin.
