ARC-MILLED RIM EMPLOYING TUBELESS TYRE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A rim and the manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The rim is in particular an aluminum alloy rim for bicycle and motorcycle employing a tubeless tyre. An arc-milled rim employing a tubeless tyre comprises a tyre lip surface (2) and a steel wire surface (1). Multiple embossments (3) with spoke holes (31) are formed on the surface of the steel wire surface (1) facing the side of spokes. Every two adjacent embossments (3) are connected by a convex rib (4) integrated therewith. The space between every two embossments is equal. At least one spoke hole (31) is formed in each embossment (3). The invention adopts an arc-milled rim with a tubeless tyre, thereby improving the rim performance on the basis of reducing the rim weight.
