PURPOSE: A top down type fire escaping device is provided to secure simplification of structure and to improve safety and working reliability. CONSTITUTION: A top down type fire escaping device comprises: a main body(14) in which a door(10) is connected by a hinge; a stage(18) which corresponds to the space part of the main body; and a drive unit(20) which descends the main body. The drive unit includes: a tubular driving shaft(32) through which a fixed shaft(30) fixed to the sidewall passes; and a pair of bobbin assemblies(38,40) which are fixed to both sides of the tubular driving shaft.
