<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly accurate simulation result by modifying a viscoelastic property based on a strain amount during deformation. <P>SOLUTION: A simulation method, in which a product made of a viscoelastic material is deformed, comprises the steps of: modeling a product using a finite number of elements; inputting an initial viscoelastic property into the each element of the product model; simulating the deformation of the product model; modifying the initial viscoelastic property input into the element of the product model based on the strain amount obtained by the deformation simulation; and simulating the deformation of the product model of which the viscoelastic property is modified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
