<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrolysis treatment device and a pyrolysis treatment method for plastic waste in which residues adhering in a pyrolysis vessel can be easily removed. <P>SOLUTION: The pyrolysis treatment device 1 for plastic waste 9 includes the pyrolysis vessel 2 for housing the plastic waste 9 to pyrolyze, and a heating section 5 for heating the pyrolysis vessel 2.
