摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for measuring terahertz wave, which achieve improvement in S/N ratio of measurement. <P>SOLUTION: In measurement of terahertz wave, of current signals detected by a detection unit 102 using a photoconductive element, offset current I independent of change in an electric field of the terahertz wave is drawn at an input portion of a current detection unit 104 which detects a current signal as a voltage signal. An amount of the offset current to be drawn is adjusted based on a result of monitoring the offset current based on the voltage signal. While the offset current I is being drawn, a time waveform of the terahertz wave is acquired based on the voltage signal.
