<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device and a usage method thereof, usable regardless of a type of a fixing element and a base, by transmitting sufficiently large energy. <P>SOLUTION: This driving device for driving the fixing element into the base, include a mechanical energy accumulator for storing mechanical energy, an energy transmission element displaceable between an initial position and a work position and transmitting energy by the mechanical energy accumulator to the fixing element, and an energy transmission device for transmitting energy from an energy source to the mechanical energy accumulator.
