<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device capable of reproducing an intermediate gradation at higher resolution while maintaining process stability. <P>SOLUTION: In an image-forming device according to an embodiment, a screen set includes: a first screen group in which a first area expands based on a first rule as a gradation value increases to a threshold value; and a second screen group in which the first area expands based on a second rule different from and independent of the first rule as the gradation value increases in excess of the threshold value. A line screen frequency is set so as to satisfy a relational expression relating to the line screen frequency between a width of a second area in a pattern corresponding to the largest gradation value in the first screen group and a width of the first area in a pattern corresponding to the smallest gradation value in the second screen group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
