The present invention relates to a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery including a wire-shaped collector and a porous, negative electrode active material layer surrounding and coating the surface of the collector, and to a lithium secondary battery including same. Since such a negative electrode includes an active material layer having a three-dimensional pore structure, the surface area thereof is large so that the mobility of lithium ions is improved and excellent battery performance is achieved. Additionally, the negative electrode of the present invention can prevent the deformation of a battery and obtain the stability thereof since the porous pore structure serves as a buffer for stress and pressure in a battery such as those arising from volume expansion during charging/discharging. Due to this property, the negative electrode of the present invention is suitable for a cable-type secondary battery. |
