HIGH POWER WATER-COOLED RESISTOR FOR HIGH VOLTAGE DIRECT CURRENT POWER CROSSOVER VALVE

A high power water-cooled resistor for a direct current crossover valve is provided, which adopts a direct water-cooled mode for cooling. A water inlet and outlet of the resistor are arranged at the bottom part of the resistor, and connecting terminals of the resistor are arranged on the top part of the resistor. The resistor comprises four layers of resistive films which are utilized to form required resistance by a series parallel mode, wherein the power of each layer of the resistive films is not less than 1500W. Therefore, the structure can be manufactured into a high power resistor. By adopting an insulation cooling mode, the thermal resistance between the resistor and the water is extremely low, the heat exchange area is large, and the resistor temperature is greatly lowered under the condition of the same power, thus the water-cooled resistor has a high power-to-volume ratio, and the power thereof can reach above 6kW under the condition of sufficient water flow, thereby the water-cooled resistor is applicable to high power occasions.
