<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal air battery capable of improving cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The metal air battery comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a first housing which houses at least an aqueous electrolyte filled between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a second housing which houses the aqueous electrolyte.
