<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pumping-up pump capable of carrying out operation with very small waste in costs, or with high use efficiency of energy (high energy saving performance). <P>SOLUTION: The pumping-up pump 12 includes a driving source Do, an impeller shaft 16 driven by the driving source Do, and an impeller 20 pumping up a liquid body by rotating along with the impeller shaft 16. It includes an auxiliary motor (a first driving machine) 21 connected to the impeller shaft 16 and started first in starting, and a main motor (a second driving machine) 22 connected to the impeller shaft 16 and driven after the auxiliary motor 21 as the driving source Do.
