<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility when projecting an image indicating a destination onto a road surface, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device includes: a dark space range detection part for detecting a range of a dark space within a projectable range; a zoom magnification determination part for determining the zoom magnification of a projector so as to allow a range for projection by a projector to include the dark space having a prescribed size; a projection position determination part for setting a position where an image is projected in the detected dark space; and a projection image generation part for arranging the image for navigation at a position set by the projection position determination part. The navigation image is projected to the dark space of the projectable range, and also the zoom magnification is adjusted so as to focus the light flux of the projector to the minimum within the range that the navigation image can be projected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
