<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for determining contents matched with user preference in consideration of retrieval history and viewing history of a user and downloading the contents matched with user preference with priority, and a download control method. <P>SOLUTION: The device according to the invention includes: a retrieval condition control part for deriving retrieval conditions input by a user and utilization of the retrieval conditions on the basis of content retrieval history and content viewing history of the user and generating retrieval condition information in which the derived retrieval conditions and the utilization of the retrieval conditions are stored; a content retrieval part for selecting a prescribed number of retrieval conditions from the retrieval condition information on the basis of the utilization and determining one or more contents matched with the selected prescribed number of retrieval conditions from the contents that can be delivered by a server; and a download control part for extracting contents that are not yet stored from the determined one or more contents and downloading the extracted contents that are not yet stored from the server according to the utilization of retrieval conditions associated with the extracted content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
