<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To forecast radiation sounds more simply than any conventional art. <P>SOLUTION: By using a finite element model of a partial structure, the amplitude and frequency of vibration arising in the finite element model of a subject are forecast and, on the basis of a predetermined number of vibration waves and a forecast frequency, the number of waves of sounds radiated from the finite element model of the subject is forecast (102); on the basis of the forecast number of waves, the radiation efficiency of sounds at a predetermined geographical position for radiation sound forecasting is forecast (104); and on the basis of the surface area of the finite element model of the subject, forecast amplitude of the vibration and forecast radiation efficiency of the sounds, radiation sounds at the predetermined geographical position for radiation sound forecasting are forecast (106). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
