<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of realizing a sufficient high-definition image under various imaging conditions. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device 110 comprises regional division means 1105 for dividing an input image generated by imaging systems 100, 102 into a plurality of regions having different evaluation values obtained using a response function of the imaging systems, and processing means 1104 which uses response functions respectively different for the divided regions to perform image processing to increase the image definition individually for the regions. The processing means performs the image processing using a response function which corresponds to an imaging condition when the input image is generated at the imaging system and which is read from storage means or generated by calculation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
