<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the moving structure of an irradiation unit, to suppress the generation of frictional heat and to cope with the increase in a printing speed. <P>SOLUTION: A drying device for irradiating a coating material transferred to the coated surface of a sheet with a light beam, to dry the material includes: a conveying unit for conveying the sheet; a plurality of irradiation units 51 (511 and 512) for irradiating the coating material of the sheet conveyed by the conveying unit with the light beam; and a moving unit 52 for independently rotation-moving the respective irradiation units 51 (511 and 512) only in one direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
