<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet sterilizer which gives a high sterilization effect to a wide variety of germs and viruses. <P>SOLUTION: In a ventilation passage 5 having the first and second openings 6a, 6b, an ultraviolet lamp 7 which is always lighted and five shielding plates 9 are provided. The shielding plates 9 include a number of honeycomb cells 10 which function as a ventilation hole and are parallelly placed and separated from each other at the ventilation path 5. Then, in the ventilation path 5, irradiation areas 13a-13f and shielding areas 12a-12e are formed alternatively. In the first and second openings 6a, 6b, the first and second fans 14a, 14b are provided, respectively. The air, flowed into the ventilation passage from one of the openings according to the flow rate of the outside air, is irradiated with ultraviolet ray in a pulsating form by passing through alternatively the irradiation areas 13a-13f and the shielding areas 12a-12e, and flow out from the other opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
