<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat back for a vehicle seat which locally concentrates creases caused in a skin. <P>SOLUTION: This seat back 1 for a vehicle seat includes: a frame 2 articulated at a middle part in the vertical direction; a pad 3 mounted to the frame 2; and the skin 4 covering the surface of the pad 3. The skin 4 includes: an upper skin 4a covering the surface of the pad 3 above the middle part; a lower skin 4b covering the surface of the pad 3 below the middle part; and an intermediate skin 4c connecting the upper skin 4a and the lower skin 4b and covering the surface of the pad 3. An upper beading member 5a extending along the upper edge of the intermediate skin 4c is provided between the upper skin 4a and the intermediate skin 4c, and a lower beading member 5b extending along the lower edge of the intermediate skin 4c is provided between the lower skin 4b and the intermediate skin 4c.
