METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING HARQ BURST

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving HARQ bursts are provided to efficiently use resources by obtaining one and more protocol data units according to the decoding order of a receiver which supports a HARQ mode. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter(110) transmits a require-message which includes information which shows not to support a field showing each order of PDUs(Protocol Data Unit) to a receiver(150). The receiver transmits resource allocation information to the transmitter. The transmitter creates a HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Request) burst which includes at least one protocol data unit. The transmitter transmits one or more HARQ bursts which include one or more PDUs and burst CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check) fields to the receiver. The receiver controls the order of the HARQ bursts using an ACID(ARQ channel identifier) which is included in burst information.
