PURPOSE: A method for guiding a travel route and a navigation for a vehicle using the same are provided to allow a driver to accurately recognize a travel route using branch names easy to recognize. CONSTITUTION: A navigation for a vehicle comprises a controller(150) and a guidance voice output part(170). The controller searches branch names, which are easy for driver to recognize, from a travel route extracted from a data base part(140), matches guide information corresponding to the searched branch names, and outputs a guidance message. The guidance voice output part changes the outputted guidance message into the voice signal to be transmitted to the driver of a vehicle. |
