HOLLW FIBER MEMBRANE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A hollow fiber membrane and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve both the tensile strength and the water permeability of the hollow fiber membrane by including a bead structure layer and a sponge structure layer. CONSTITUTION: A first spinning solution is manufactured by dissolving a first polymer resin in a poor solvent. A second spinning solution is prepared b dissolving a second polymer resin and an additive in a good solvent. The first spinning solution and the second spinning solution are discharged through a spinneret to form a hollow spun material. The hollow spun material is in contact with a coagulant containing a non-solvent to form a porous film. A hollow fiber membrane includes a bead structure layer, a sponge structure layer, and an intermediate layer. The intermediate layer is formed between the bead structure layer and the sponge structure layer.
