PURPOSE: A colored curable composition, a color filter, a method for manufacturing the same, a solid state imaging device, a liquid crystal display device, and a pigment polymer are provided to improve the color purity, the photo resistance characteristic, and the heat resistance characteristic of the composition by including a xanthene structure. CONSTITUTION: A colored curable composition includes a colorant polymer, a polymerizable compound, a photo-polymerization initiator, and an organic solvent. The colorant polymer includes a xanthene structure as the partial structure of colorant parts. The xanthene structure is a color structure derived from a xanthene compound represented by chemical formula M. In the chemical formula M, the R1 to R4 are hydrogen atom or monovalent substituent group. The R5 is respectively monovalent substituent group. The m is the integer of 0 to 5. |
