<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector module having little risk that shavings are interposed between a lens and an end face of an optical fiber to thereby decrease optical coupling efficiency and having high optical coupling efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An optical connector module 1 includes: an optical fiber 2 having a core 2a and a cladding 2b made up of a first resin; and a positioning component 3 provided with both an insertion recess portion 4 having a bottom surface 4c to which, after the insertion of the optical fiber 2, a distal end face of the optical fiber 2 is butted and a lens 5. The hardness of a second resin forming the positioning component 3 is higher than that of the first resin. Thereby, an outer peripheral edge portion at the distal end face 2c of the optical fiber 2 does not shave a side wall 4b of the insertion hole 4, consequently allowing the prevention of occurrence of the shavings to be attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
